JAMB 2016 Result is OUT for 27th and 29th

 
  Candidates who sat for the ongoing UTME Examination today 29th February, 2016 are expected to have received their results via sms as JAMB had announced earlier.

However, we understand that this result which is to be sent via sms is just a graphical representation of a candidate's performance in the examination and not the actual score of such candidate. The actual score of each candidate will be made available on JAMB portal in due course.

The 2016 UTME results is now available on JAMB portal.

By this report, candidates who took part in the 2016 UTME for 29th February can now access their result online.

FG to probe controversy over JAMB Cut-off marks

The Federal Government on Tuesday in Abuja pledged to look into the controversy over the cut-off marks for students seeking for admission into universities.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr MacJohn ‎Nwaobiala‎, disclosed this to State House correspondents after briefing President Muhammed Buhari on the activities of the ministry.

What You Should Know about JAMB Cut-OFF Mark

The JAMB cut off mark is the minimum JAMB UTME score a candidate is expected to have before he or she could sit for Post Utme/screening exam or be admitted at the individual Universities and Polytechnics.

The JAMB Cut-off Marks are those used by the institutions in the admission year. The Schools are yet to announce any change to the JAMB 2016/2017 Cut-off marks session.

JAMB Cut off mark for polytechnics and colleges of education in Nigeria are generally 150. Same with Colleges of Education.
